Deviousness |
Honestly helps to see the process others use. Helps me grow to observe and absorb elements of people's techniques. Of course not copying outright their style, but figuring the logic of their methods and applying it in a way I can use it with my own style. And this is simply awesome in actually showing me that rather than only being able to have my mind blown by the finished product and not even beginning to grasp how it's constructed
Whole lotta conceptualizing and gradually working together the final piece by sorta redrawing things in incremental detail huh? I sincerely envy your patience and skill
Also, yes you noticed my one weakness (strength?) to creating concepts. I do tend to deviate a lot from the original concept, but then again this concept started out as a bunch of blobby bush strokes so I suppose that isn't the case here.
And yes, a lot of patience is needed which is why I often take a day or two off from when I think I am done to where I am actually done in order to gain a fresh perspective and change the concept to my liking.
Finally, thank you so much for the huge compliment. It's a honor personally that you and others found this helpful.
I blame DA, god damn bugs.
