Something entirely, but yet not entirely related to the series I have been doing, rather it is an idea that spawned from it.

The image that flashed into my head was those images of heads in boxes you often see in anatomy books to understand the head in perspective. Instead I did the skull.

It didn't come out as awesome as I saw it in my head, but I still like it.

Anyways, thanks for looking and enjoy!

The best way I learned is to teach myself. Just paint and draw every day, do a lot of studies, read, watch tutorials, and so on. I know it sounds like a lot of work, and it is, but that never stopped my passion to get better. :)

Being in school for graphic design, I rarely have time to draw for myself. And if I do, I'm suffering from burnout and mental exhaustion :-P

Sorry to hear that. I could teach you everything I know but unless you practice it, it will get you no where. :(

What dimensions do you normally paint in?

I can't say, because I don't often have a "normal". I guess typically just do my desktop screen resolution (1920x1080) and then scale way up when I need to. In summary, I just work bigger than my desktop resolution.
