This is for the Anatomicae #25 - Birds of a Feather challenge over at CG Hub that I participated in. This is the anatomy of the bird I choose, the Bald Eagle, including skeleton and muscles.

Tedious, yet extremely fun to do and I learned a whole lot from it. That, to me, is the best part about it.

Anyways, here are my collection of references which I am showing for whatever reasons.

Well thank you very much, I am glad it could be of help to you. I wouldn't follow it exactly because I know it's probably full of errors. Be sure to look at actual scientific images of birds as well to get ultimate accuracy. :)

Funny thing is these were just made with an hatching style, it's interesting that such a simple rendering technique pushes the dimensions for you and probably everyone else. :nod:
